6 years ago I lost my Italian Greyhound Maple.

To help me cope with the all-consuming feelings of grief, I wrote a rhyming story in my notes app. It sat there for years until one day I decided to go all in on the creative process of publishing it.

​This project became so much bigger than just me. Every page features a real pet with a real name, loved by a real family. 

52 pets that have crossed the Rainbow bridge, too.

When I experienced pet loss and grief I was so surprised by how lonely I felt during it that I vowed to do everything in my power to help people through this season. I don't think there is much you can say to someone to make them less sad, there is only "me too"
